Prayer requests & pastoral care
When you send a prayer request by WhatsApp, phone, email, or in person, it is read by the pastor and, where needed, the prayer team. We treat these as confidential.
“Your prayer request is not shared publicly, read out by name, or posted online unless you clearly tell us we may.”
Our promise to youThere is one exception. If something you share suggests a serious risk to someone's life or safety, or if the law requires it, we may need to involve the appropriate person or authority.
WhatsApp messages sit on your device and ours. If you would rather your request was not stored on a phone, please speak with the pastor in person.
Section 05
Photos, video & livestream
Our Sunday services, special meetings and Bible College events are sometimes photographed, recorded or streamed on our YouTube channel. If you attend, you may appear in the background of a photo or video, and that material may be used on this website, our YouTube channel, and our social media pages.
- Camera positions are kept where they are visible, so you can choose to sit outside the frame.
- Tell a volunteer or the church office if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed.
- If a picture of you is already published and you want it removed, email us and we will take it down.
Section 06
Children & Sunday School
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it.
- Details of children in Sunday School or Children's Ministry are given by a parent or guardian, and are used only for the child's care, safety and attendance.
- We do not publish a child's full name, school, address, or contact details.
- We ask a parent or guardian before a child's photograph is used on the website or social media, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
- We do not track, profile, or run targeted advertising towards children.
If you believe a child's information has reached us without a parent's knowledge, contact us and we will delete it.
Section 07
Bible College applicants
Information sent to Eternal Life Bible College for admission to C.Th, Dip.Th or B.Th is used to assess the application, contact you about it, and maintain student records for the length of your course.
Academic records, attendance and results are kept as part of the college's records after the course ends, so that certificates and transcripts can be verified later. Applications that are not taken forward are deleted within a reasonable period.
Section 08
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This website uses them sparingly:
- Essential cookies — set by WordPress and our hosting to load pages, keep the site secure and remember settings. The site will not work properly without these.
- Third-party cookies — set when a page loads an embedded YouTube video or a Google Map. These come from Google, not from us.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so may stop embedded videos and maps from displaying.
Section 09
Third-party services
A few trusted services help us run the site and stay in touch. When you use them, their own privacy policies also apply.
- Website hosting — stores the site's files and keeps server logs.
- YouTube (Google) — hosts our sermon videos and livestreams. Watching an embedded video means Google may set cookies on your device.
- Google Maps — shows the church location on our contact section.
- Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used across the site.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — used for prayer requests and enquiries when you choose to message us.
- Facebook and Instagram (Meta) — where we share church updates.
We have no control over how these companies process data on their own platforms. Please read their privacy policies if that matters to you.
Section 10
Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only:
- With pastors, staff or volunteers who need it to serve you — and only as much as they need.
- With the service providers listed above, so the website and our communication can function.
- Where the law, a court, or a government authority in India requires it.
- Where it is necessary to protect the safety of a person or the church.
Section 11
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for. General enquiries and prayer requests are kept for a short period and then deleted. Church membership, baptism, giving and Bible College academic records are kept for longer, because a church is expected to maintain them. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Section 12
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, access to church records is limited to those who need it, and accounts are protected by passwords. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or messaging app can promise perfect security. Please avoid sending highly sensitive details through online forms or chat.
Section 13
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- Show you what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used.
- Correct anything that is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- Delete information we no longer need to keep.
- Withdraw consent you gave earlier — for example, permission to use a photograph.
- Stop contacting you with church updates.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.
Write to us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm who you are first. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Section 14
Links to other sites
This website links out to YouTube, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else's website and this policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
